Dual-Sided Printers

Dual-sided ID card printers are ideal for creating photo ID cards that display more information or include more security features than single-sided printing will allow. As the name suggests, they print to both sides of a plastic card. You can choose between full-colour or monochrome, and most will let you add capabilities like magnetic stripe and smart card encoding, and lamination to extend each card’s wallet-life.

Dual-sided card printers typically have a ‘hopper’ that holds a stack of cards for printing in larger batches. Many medium-sized organisations use them to create employee ID, gift cards, loyalty cards, student ID, or membership cards.
