Why should we go for plastic cards?

Identity produce millions of plastic cards every year, for a wide range of uses. People associate a certain value to plastic cards and won't throw them away, add to that their longevity, it's no wonder that plastic cards are becoming an ever more popular option for companies and organisations nationwide.

There are three basic methods of printing plastic cards, ranging from the lowest to highest cost.

Digital Plastic Cards

Digital cards can be ordered from 200 cards up, and are delivered in a very short period of time. If you need plastic cards in a hurry, then digital cards are the way to go. We can turnaround these cards in 3-5 days, and deliver them by courier to your premises, or end customer under plain cover.

Digital cards can be finished with a wide range of options, including metallic colours, signature panels, magnetic stripes, sequential numbering and barcoding.

Cards can also be printed and cut in to 3-up key fobs for key rings.

Litho Plastic Cards

We print litho plastic cards in the same way that magazines and posters are printed. We print onto sheets of plastic which are then laminated. Our cards are the same size and thickness as your ATM or Credit Card, and have rounded edges. Using this process we can print full colour images, match pantone colours exactly. Suitable for colour perfect reproductions, large quantity printing and phone card printing.

Foil Plastic Cards

Printed using a range of coloured cards, using a foil blocking process. This is the same process that is used to print the gold print on passport covers, or on diaries, for example. We can print a range of flat, metallic and holographic colours. Suitable for small runs of cards, impressive membership cards. A limitation of this process is that we cannot print gradients, colour images, and we cannot guarantee a perfect match to a specified colour.
