Most hotel door key cards are encoded using a magnetic stripe writer at the hotel reception. Room number and timestamp are encoded, along with optional items such as stay duration etc. Contrary to popular belief, your personal details are not stored on hotel keycards. Newer Salto type locks use smart chip cards to encode more data onto the card. We can supply blank and pre-printed cards for all kinds of hotel door locks. Your hotel or guest house logo and details can be printed on the card, giving it a more personal touch. Best of all, our cards are identical in functionality, but frequently as much as 10% of the original cost as supplied by the door lock installer.
